Happy Endings. . .
Hi St. Frances,
I have been wanting to write to thank you for giving me such a wonderful animal. Last July I found Gizmo at your shelter, online and began the adoption process - everyone was so kind. My husband and I drove to Mt. Pleasant to pick her up - and WOW this beautiful cat has given me so much joy. On the 3 hour drive to Mt Pleasant my husband kept saying "what if you get there and you don't like her or she's not what you expect?" , but as soon as I saw her, my heart melted.
If you remember her, she was a bit mean (to say the least), but she has become so loving, playful and she loves to cuddle (can you believe it?!!!) She greats me at the door each night I come home from work - She is my little shadow, following me and sleeping on my pillow every night - she is my heart and I wanted to share a few (of MANY) photos of her, some with one of her "babies" - she has a collection and loves to play and carry them all over the house. This is truly an adoption success story. It took some time and lots of patience waiting on her to adapt and "come into her own", but I really wanted you all to know you made a good choice of an adoptive parent. She is soooooooo loved and will be with me as long as she lives. I thank you... thank you... thank you for her, thanks for being there for all the animals you save, keep doing what you're doing!
